Is there a fee for admission?

No, the event is free to attend and all are invited!

Where can I park?

Parking is free at one of several parking lots surrounding the school. Please see the map below.

How many people attend the event?

We usually welcome 5,000 to 7,000 people to Founders Day each year!

What happens if it rains?

The event proceeds rain or shine. Many of our exhibitors and vendors have tents and we do have several inside attractions.

What kinds of attractions will you have?

The Graviton, Fun Slide, Boomerang, Frolic, Loop of Planes, Swings, Merry-go-Round, Bear Fair, the Airplanes, and more!

Are the rides free?

Some rides are complimentary and some require tickets purchased the day of the event. Tickets are $1.25 per ticket or a book of 20 is $20. Carnival rides will take 1-5 tickets per rider.

Where is the best place to watch the parade?

There is great viewing along the entire parade route, however, there is a family area at Market Street, where Jym Ganahl will be announcing.

What is the route of the parade?

The parade begins at the Church of the Resurrection on the corner of Dublin-Granville Road and Fodor Road and ends at the 2-5 Elementary School on High Street.

Where is the parade staging area?

Floats and vehicles in the parade should enter the Church of the Resurrection at the Morgan Road entrance. Walking participants should be dropped off at the Fodor Road entrance.
