For the second year in a row, New Albany Founders Day will be hosting a beer garden. This year, however, Founders Day guests will be able to take advantage of the new New Albany DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) and enjoy their alcoholic beverages while roaming around the Village Center.
“Founders Day is a true community celebration focused on the history of New Albany and Plain Township, and its timing is perfect,” said Adrienne Joly, director of administrative services in a recent Columbus Dispatch article. “It kicks off the entire event season in New Albany and is a fantastic way to launch the Village Center DORA.”
Beer and hard seltzer will be $5 and bottled water will be sold for $1. Proceeds will go to New Albany Founders Day which is a 501(c)(4) organization.
